Station House Holiday Cottages

Station House Holiday Cottages are situated in this wonderful village of Thornton le Dale, in the heart of the North York Moors National Park.

Our cottages have been thoughtfully and tastefully converted within the old railway station building and have character and charm in abundance.

Exclusively for adults only, our cottages provide either a relaxing retreat or an ideal base from which to explore the many wonderful attractions of the moors and coast.

Running nearby is Thornton le Dale beck which is regularly visited by Ducks, Moorhens, Herons and Kingfishers. The village itself provides everything you could want from a relaxing coffee to superb fine dining, also an array of shops including supermarket, bakeries, butchers and much more.

As resident owners, we pride ourselves in achieving high standards in cleanliness, customer service and an attention to detail which keeps our guests returning year after year.

All of our cottages have access to a south facing garden area complete with comfortable wooden seating for relaxing in the sun.

Ticket Office

The two bedroomed cottages sleeps up to four adults. One double bedroom with en suite and one twin bedroom with ensuite. Modern dining kitchen along with a spacious lounge. This cottage has been converted from the orginal ticket office rooms.

Gallery Cottage

This first floor apartment has independent access via the original Station Masters staircase. Spacious gallery lounge, modern fitted dining kitchen with wonderful views over open countryside and one double bedroom with en suite bathroom includng walk in shower.

House Cottage

A spacious single storey cottage, with entrance off the original station platform. Consisting of a lounge with sunny bay window, large modern fitted dining kitchen and one twin bedded room with en suite shower room.

Mews Cottage

This thoughtfully planned single storey cottage with entrance off the original platform, consists of open plan lounge/modern fitted kitchen/dining area and one double bedroom with en suite shower room.
